Application Process For New Students

Our application for the 2018-19 school year is now closed.

Our next MSEN opportunity will be our summer camp which is scheduled for July.
Our summer application will be posted in early February for our summer camp.

 

Registration Process For Returning MSEN parents/students

This is for MSEN students who participated in the program during the 2017-18 school year and for new MSEN students who have been accepted by their school (Carnage & Ligon Middle Schools only) into the program by their school’s lead MSEN advisor. Annually, each student is required to pay a non-refundable registration fee. 
For the 2018-19 school year, please read our Policies and Procedures document for information on our registration fees and payment options.

  • Review the Policies and Procedures
  • Complete the Online Registration Form.
  • Print and sign the Consent and Liability Release Form.
  • For students in grades six through nine, you must submit the final report card from the 2017-18 school year (unless you attend Carnage or Ligon). For students in grades 10 – 12, you must submit an unofficial transcript to verify the child’s grade point average (unless you attend Broughton and SE Raleigh HS).
  • Registration deadline is September 28, 2018.

    The NC-MSEN Pre-College Program at NCSU is available for students who live anywhere in the Raleigh-Durham metro area, Fayetteville area, and northeastern North Carolina including Vance, Warren, Northampton, Halifax, Rocky Mount, Nash, Wilson, and Edgecombe. There are three other NC-MSEN Pre-College Program sites across North Carolina. Students may participate at the program site that is closest to their home.
