Application For New Students and Registration For Returning Students

At this time, our application for the 2017-18 is now closed, and we are no longer accepting any new students.
Please check our website for our summer program in late January/early February 2018.  

Registration Process For Returning MSEN parents/students

This is for MSEN students who participated in the program during the 2016-17 school year and for new MSEN students who have been accepted by their school (Broughton, Carnage, Centennial Campus, Ligon, North Garner, SE Raleigh HS) into the program by their school’s lead MSEN advisor. Annually, each student is required to pay a non-refundable registration fee. 
For the 2017-18 school year, registration fees are $100/student, $180 for 2 students, and $270 for 3 students (this applies only for siblings or students who live in the same household).
$50/student for students who qualify for free or reduced lunch; documentation must be provided to the MSEN Office.

  • Review the Policies and Procedures
  • Complete the Online Registration Form.
  • Print and sign the Consent and Liability Release Form.
  • For students in grades six through nine, you must submit the final report card from the 2016-17 school year . For students in grades 10 – 12, you must submit an unofficial transcript to verify the child’s grade point average (unless you attend Broughton, Carnage, Ligon, North Garner, and SE Raleigh HS).
  • Registration deadline is September 21, 2017.

    The NC-MSEN Pre-College Program at NCSU is available for students who live anywhere in the Raleigh-Durham metro area, Fayetteville area, and northeastern North Carolina including Vance, Warren, Northampton, Halifax, Rocky Mount, Nash, Wilson, and Edgecombe. There are three other NC-MSEN Pre-College Program sites across North Carolina. Students may participate at the program site that is closest to their home.
