Application For New Students and Registration For Returning Students

Application Requirements

Students applying for the NCSU NC-MSEN Pre-College Program must apply online. Each student is also required to pay a non-refundable registration fee AFTER acceptance into the program. 
For the 2017-18 school year, registration fees are $100/student with a discount for multiple students in the same household.
$50/student for students who qualify for free or reduced lunch; documentation must be provided to the MSEN Office.

Registration Process For Returning MSEN parents/students

This is for MSEN students who participated in the program during the 2016-17 school year. Annually, each student is required to pay a non-refundable registration fee. 
For the 2017-18 school year, registration fees are $100/student with a discount for multiple students in the same household.
$50/student for students who qualify for free or reduced lunch; documentation must be provided to the MSEN Office.

  • Review the Policies and Procedures
  • Complete the Online Application Form.
  • Print and sign the Consent and Liability Release Form.
  • For students in grades six through nine, you must submit the final report card from the 2016-17 school year. For students in grades 10 – 12, you must submit an unofficial transcript to verify the child’s grade point average.
  • Registration deadline is September 21, 2017.

    The NC-MSEN Pre-College Program at NCSU is available for students who live anywhere in the Raleigh-Durham metro area, Fayetteville area, and northeastern North Carolina including Vance, Warren, Northampton, Halifax, Rocky Mount, Nash, Wilson, and Edgecombe. There are three other NC-MSEN Pre-College Program sites across North Carolina. Students may participate at the program site that is closest to their home.
