This math and science competition event is held annually on the 4th Saturday in late April.

80 students from the NCSU NC-MSEN Pre-College Program compete against students from the other three NC-MSEN Pre-College Programs across the state. The event location rotates between participating UNC system universities, Elizabeth City State University, North Carolina State University, University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and Winston-Salem State University.

Students compete against their peers in events ranging from academic competitions in many math subjects that are offered in school such as Common Core Math 6, 7, 8, I, II, III, pre-calculus, and calculus math and science such as 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Science, earth science, biology, chemistry, and physics. In addition, students who don’t like the academic contests may compete in various hands-on events such as water bottle rockets, parachute egg drop, an oratorical contest and a quiz bowl.
